This day in 2014 was the US premiere of Steve Mackey's Dreamhouse in Avery Fisher Hall, New York (Synergy team Micaela Haslam, Heather Cairncross, Andrew Busher, Michael Dore) with New York Phil, Rinde Eckert and Catch guitar 4tet conducted by Jayce Ogren). Sad to see so many cancelled Rain Live projects going by in the group diary, but I hope they can be rescheduled for next year. ... See MoreSee Less

Talia Berio sat listening attentively to our rehearsal, and we nervously watched her making copious notes on "post-its" and sticking them in her score. Bracing ourselves for a grilling in the break, we were mightily relieved to learn that only one of them was for us - and a minor detail at that. Phew! ... See MoreSee Less
