On this day in 2011, we were in the Barbican revving up for the evening show of "Voices of Light" by Richard Einhorn. LSO, London Symphony Chorus and 6 Synergy soloists (Olivia Robinson, Heather Cairncross, Andrew Busher, Tom Bullard, Micaela Haslam, Joanna L'Estrange) all conducted by Marin Alsop, alongside the amazing 1928 silent film "The Passion of Joan of Arc" (directed by Carl Dreyer). Synergy Vocals

On this day in 2006, against all odds, St Louis Cardinals won the baseball World Series - and we were there! The whole city went nuts and, as our hotel was right next door to the stadium, we got caught up in all in the excitement. All the fountains in the city centre flowed red (colour of the Cards' uniform). Great memories and stories from this trip - oh yes, and we did 4 concerts with the fabulous St Louis Symphony Orchestra too. Needless to say, the red jackets went down a storm. ... See MoreSee Less
