Closely associated with many leading contemporary composers, Synergy has performed in prestigious venues and festivals all over the world - in the UK, USA, Australia, the Far East and Europe.
Collaborating regularly with Ensemble Modern, Steve Reich & Musicians and Ictus, Synergy has also sung with BBC National Orchestra of Wales, BBC Symphony Orchestra, Boston Modern Orchestra Project, Boston Symphony, Britten Sinfonia, Brooklyn Philharmonic, Bruckner Orchester, Chicago Symphony, Ensemble Bash, L'Ensemble de Basse-Normandie, Ensemble InterContemporain, Kroumata, London Sinfonietta, London Symphony Orchestra, LA Philharmonic, Lontano, Netherlands Radio Symphony, New World Symphony, Nexus, Orchestre National de Lille, Orchestre National de Lyon, Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte-Carlo, Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, Orchestre Philharmonique de Liège, Orchestra of St Luke's, Orquesta de Valencia, Percussion Claviers de Lyon, Remix Ensemble, RTÉ Concert Orchestra, Het Residentie Orkest, St Louis Symphony, Sinfonia 21, Slovak Philharmonic, Smith Quartet, Tempo Reale Ensemble and the Ulster Orchestra.
They have also performed in collaboration with the Royal Ballet (UK), Mark Baldwin (UK) and Rosas (Belgium) dance companies.
The group's recordings include Reich's Music for 18 Musicians with Ensemble Modern (BMG/RCA), Drumming with Ictus (Cyprès), Three Tales (Nonesuch DVD) with Steve Reich & Musicians, and they are featured on Karl Jenkins' Imagined Oceans.
Their voices can be heard on a number of TV advertisements, sound tracks and films (see credits and reviews).
Synergy Vocals also provides backing vocals for various pop artists including Funeral for a Friend (Atlantic) and Example (Pure Groove).
