Closely associated with many leading contemporary composers, Synergy has performed in prestigious venues and festivals all over the world - in the UK, USA, Australia, the Far East and Europe.

Collaborating regularly with Ensemble Modern, Steve Reich & Musicians, Ictus and London Sinfonietta, Synergy has also sung with Asko Schoenberg, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, BBC Symphony Orchestra, Boston Modern Orchestra Project, Boston Symphony, Britten Sinfonia, Brooklyn Philharmonic, Bruckner Orchester, Chicago Symphony, Ensemble Bash, L'Ensemble de Basse-Normandie, Ensemble InterContemporain, Kroumata, London Symphony Orchestra, LA Philharmonic, Lontano, musikFabrik, Netherlands Radio Symphony, New World Symphony, New York Philharmonic, Nexus, Orchestre National de Lille, Orchestre National de Lyon, Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte-Carlo, Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, Orchestre Philharmonique de Liège, Orchestra of St Luke's, Orquesta de Valencia, Percussion Claviers de Lyon, Remix Ensemble, RTÉ Concert Orchestra, Het Residentie Orkest, St Louis Symphony, Sinfonia 21, Slovak Philharmonic, Smith Quartet, Tempo Reale Ensemble, Tiroler Symphonieorchester and the Ulster Orchestra.

They have also performed in collaboration with the Royal Ballet (UK), Mark Baldwin (UK) and Rosas (Belgium) dance companies, and with Colin Currie’s new percussion ensemble.

The group has a long-standing relationship with Steve Reich, and are well-known exponents of his music. They performed with Steve's ensemble at the 2009 re-opening of Alice Tully Hall at the Lincoln Center in New York. Louis Andriessen now writes with Synergy Vocals in mind, and they are featured in his latest video opera La Commedia. Synergy Vocals also provided the 16 singers required for the long-awaited UK premiere of Nono’s Prometeo at the South Bank in 2008 (see recent reviews).

The group's recordings include Reich's Music for 18 Musicians with Ensemble Modern (BMG/RCA), Drumming with Ictus (Cyprès), Three Tales (Nonesuch DVD) with Steve Reich & Musicians, and Karl Jenkins' Imagined Oceans.

Synergy Vocals also provides backing vocals for various pop artists including Funeral for a Friend (Atlantic), Example (Pure Groove) and Henry Priestman (Island).
