Coaching
Over the years, we have participated in a variety of outreach and educational programmes in the UK, the USA, South America and Europe, working with young children, students and adults alike.
Whilst on tour, we have visited schools to work with children on performing, ensemble singing and microphone technique. We have worked in music colleges with vocal students, and also with student composers writing for vocal ensembles, and we have workshopped compositions for established composers keen to try out new ideas.
Micaela Haslam is well known for her outstanding knowledge of Steve Reich’s music. Personally recommended by the composer, she coaches both student and professional ensembles (vocal and instrumental) in the preparation of his music – especially Music for 18 Musicians (click here to access).
